[APEX float with RINKO FT available]
We are proud to announce that our most sophisticated dissolved oxygen sensor, the RINKO FT, is now available on Teledyne Webb's APEX and APEX Deep floats. This integration will certainly help those requiring to obtain dissolved oxygen data from Lagrangian floats, and undoubtedly, will contribute to reducing the lack of such measurements in our oceans, since the RINKO FT has incredibly fast response allowing a high spatial resolution.

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new RINKO model. The RINKO family is well-known optical dissolved oxygen sensor with fast response, high accuracy, and high resolution. As a new member of RINKO family, the ARO-FT is much more accurate and stable than conventional RINKOs by using multipoint calibration and optimized sensing method while keeping the same response time. The real-time data from the MRV S3A RINKO floats deployed on July 2014 are now freely available on the Argo website. The ARO-FT allows you to measure DO vertical distributions with very high resolution, which will help scientists to discover unknown physical/biochemical processes. Check it out!

Announcement of Kobe facility shut down
On September 21, 2014, our facility in Kobe (formerly, ALEC) will be closed and we are moving to our head office in Nishinomiya City. Our new address, Telephone number and Fax number are as follows;

Due to our office relocation, our production and repair/service in Kobe will be closed from September 10 to September 21, and we will restart all activities on September 22 at Nishinomiya. There might be some delays in delivery due to this relocation, which we would like to ask your kind understanding.
|2014/6/11||JFE Advantech has delivered 105 units of conduct/temperature logger (A7CT-USB) and 37 units of deep current meters (AEMD-USB) to China. These instruments will be used for the Western Pacific Ocean System (WPOS) project by Chines Academy of Sciences. The project will focus on the research in the region of western Pacific warm pool, which is the core of science on the formation of El Niño and La Niña in the eastern Pacific.|
|2013/5/6||JFE Advantech recently set up a calibration facility for its dissolved oxygen sensors in collaboration with China agent, Ocean Science Technology Ltd in Qingdao. The facility provides service on changing DO film and the calibration for all types of RINKO family instruments.|
