Overview

ACTD-DF is a direct-reading version of the COMPACT-CTD Lite. It connects through 100 m of cable to the D-400F deck unit, which displays the data and stores them for later upload to a PC or laptop. In this configuration, the CTD-Lite can be used for spot measurements or profiling.

Four alkaline C-cells power both the D-400F deck unit and the instrument. The D-400F has 2MB of flash memory and a clear LCD display showing the current data set.
The display is back-lit and can be clearly read at night or in daylight. The splash proof touch panel buttons are easy to manipulate even with wet or gloved hands. This makes the D-400F unit good to work under field conditions.
